New availibilty for ROBART Heavy duty slitters

We are happy to inform we can offer a "semi-automatic" roll slitting machine, which means that we can offer a roll slitting machine that can be used as a semi-automatic in addition to manual operation.

The operator can set the desired widths for cutting on a touchscreen, 5 different commands per cutting command (10x 20mm, 4x15mm, 15x 50mm, etc.).

The operator then no longer has to manually set the width each time, but the blade carriage automatically switches to the next width after each cut. This will be very accurate.

The operator must, however, perform the cut manually.

We believe this provides the following benefits:
- No human error in width measurement,
- “blade carriage” automatically blocked,
- work faster, no longer manually position the width,
- perfect for cutting the roll into narrow strips,
- machine can always be used manually, for example quickly cutting a roll in half
- PLC where the operator can set up to 5 different widths per cutting job.

A blade carriage with 2 blades will be mounted standard when choosing for the Semi Automatic slitting solution.
